Each week, you’ll receive a series of texts, and you’ll be asked to prepare the reading of one of the texts (for example, making sure you understand the text, so you can put the right intonation, or marking the liaisons on the page). In class, participants will take turns reading out loud. It’s a great way to improve pronunciation, and gain some confidence.

New Material…Let’s discover French phrases together. We’ll explore different phrases, translating them literally, then trying to guess their meaning and origin. A great class for all levels to build vocabulary and discover new phrases

New Material…French is filled with homophones, words that are spelled differently, but are pronounced the same way, for example: la mer, la mère, and le maire.
