This introductory French course builds a strong foundation in everyday communication. Students learn essential vocabulary, basic grammar structures, and practical expressions used in real‑life situations. The course emphasizes speaking, listening, reading, and writing through simple dialogues, interactive activities, and cultural exploration.
Classes are progressive. Absolute beginners work their way up from A1.1 onto A1.2, etc. From A1, students move onto A2, onto B1, etc. Textbook is not included in fee. This course will capitalize on advantages and simultaneously work to overcome some of the most common mistakes made by Spanish-native speakers.

French is filled with homophones, words that are spelled differently, but are pronounced the same way, for example: la mer, la mère, and le maire. Each set of homophones will be followed by an exercise. All exercises will be done in class. No homework, just a fun time!

In class, participants will take turns reading out loud. It’s a great way to improve pronunciation and gain some confidence.
