Fabiola Quezada Salinas, singer

BIO-
FABIOLA QUEZADA is a local San Antonio artist and a friend of the Alliance Française. Fabiola Quezada is a lyric soprano that brings together a passion for language and music. She recently sang for the UTSA Foreign Languages departments French Film Festival and has supported the Alliance Française singing French National Anthem at the French Legion of Honor Induction Ceremony at Fort Sam Houston.  Her versatility as an artist was recently showcased in the role of Vivian in the world premiere of Nathan Felix’s contemporary and immersive opera Glory Gone (2025). She participated in the Opera San Antonio Young Artist Program (2024) mastering zarzuela repertoire under the guidance of Pablo Zinger. Her close collaboration with Dottie Randall has allowed her grow further as an artist, musican and performer.

BIO-
DOTTIE RANDALL is currently chorus master for Opera San Antonio in her hometown. For many years she was a music educator, teaching elementary music and directing choirs in middle schools through high schools. As a pianist, she has been on the music staff of San Diego Opera, Chautauqua Opera, New Orleans Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Austin Opera, Opera Pacific, San Antonio Opera, and Orlando Opera. European experience includes two years as assistant conductor at the Arena di Verona in Italy, and six seasons with the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria. In addition, she has prepared singers, both soloists and ensembles, for the San Antonio Symphony, University of Texas at Austin, UTSA, Ohio State University, Southern Methodist University, and University of the Incarnate Word. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Ohio Wesleyan University. Dottie currently maintains a private vocal coaching studio in San Antonio, and is active as a guest teacher and clinician.
